Once again Central City Rollergirls are teaming up with the lovely Jay Handley to bring you an amazing Saturday nights entertainment. This Saturday (22nd June) sees the third installment of CCR’s comedy nights which in the past has showcased some great talent. The acts this weekend will be treating the crowd to some new material before heading to comedian’s mecca aka the Edinburgh Fringe festival later this summer. With six incredible acts for just five pounds you can’t afford to miss it!
Who? Comedians include:
Jay Handley – The comedy messiah will be your compere for the evening.
The Lovely Men – Puerile & thought provoking sketch comedy from four lovely men – James Cook, Jonathan Lee, Andy Richardson & Dan Smith.
Masai Graham – Runner up of the comedian of the Year award in 2011.
Freddie Farrell – Freddie Farrell delves into some dark areas, but his cheeky-chappy demeanor can carry him through the darkest of subject matter’.
Jon Pearson – His story telling style has audiences hanging from his every word.
Jonny Greatrex – “A great up-and-coming act, one to watch.” Dan Nightingale. “Jonny Greatrex is a lovely man and a comic with some fine jokes and a great deal of potential.” Stuart Goldsmith. “Jonny is a quick witted, charming, and likeable comedian who can engage with an audience within seconds.” Kirsty Murdoch.
